New Beginnings & New Faces: John Landis Retirement Announcement

After three decades of dedication, expertise, and commitment, John Landis will be retiring from SWF. We are extremely grateful for everything he has brought to our team and customers over the years. His true embodiment of our core values, and impact on our culture will remain a part of SWF. We are excited to see where his next chapter takes him, his wife Colleen, and their family.

Since 1993, John has been an integral part of the SWF team. After spending his first six years as a field coordinator, he shifted to a new role as Production Department Co-Manager before joining the purchasing team. Nearly 18 years later, John brought his in-depth knowledge and strong relational skills to the Business Development department, helping serve and build relationships with our customers for the last 8 years.

As part of his transition, we are pleased to introduce Desiree Cox, who will be stepping into John’s role. Desiree brings a wealth of experience from the energy and construction industries and has been working closely with John to ensure a smooth transition.

“After 32 years of dedicated service, I have made the decision to retire. This decision comes with mixed emotions as I reflect on the incredible journey that this business has given me – countless experiences, invaluable relationships, and a deep sense of fulfillment.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to my customers, colleagues, and industry partners for the trust and collaboration we’ve built over the years. Your continued support has been invaluable to both me and my team, and I will always cherish the relationships we’ve developed.

While I may be stepping away, I leave with full confidence in Desiree and the exceptional team at SWF Industrial, and their ability to provide you with the same level of service and dedication you’ve come to expect from SWF Industrial.
